My inspiration and why
The inspiration for Phishyn came from recognizing that human error is the biggest cybersecurity weakness—no matter how advanced security tools become, phishing attacks still succeed because they exploit people, not just systems. I saw an opportunity to use AI-generated phishing emails and real-world attack simulations to create a proactive defense, training employees through realistic yet risk-free phishing experiences instead of waiting for an actual breach to occur.
Traditional phishing training is often ineffective, outdated, and predictable, with employees quickly learning to recognize repetitive test emails rather than developing real phishing awareness.
